My hubby and I had a quick getaway down to southern California. The weather was crappy but there was some amazing "growth." Growth of flowers and growth of a wonderful relationship with the man I love deeply!
Check out all my liked girls and how they interpreted the this weeks theme!

hello there. sorry i have been mia lately. i haven't even posted my weekly challenge words for the linked 52 project. i have just been down a bit lately. would you like to join me in my pity party? i live in a travel trailer and some days i just get down about it. when i am busy it's ok but the days where i don't have a ton to do and i just sit around wallowing in my houselessness i just want to "as wendy so eloquently put it" stab myself in the eye with a fork!
i miss having my own home
i miss sending my kids to their rooms when they are in trouble
i miss beautiful open spaces to take pictures of my family in their natural environment.
i miss windows
i miss light
i miss doing my laundry when i want without someone being very concerned that i haven't done it in over a week
i miss my bathtub
i miss cupboards and places for everything
i miss my kids all having a bed (bonnie sleeps on the couch)
i miss a time when i could go more than a day or 2 without stubbing a toe
i miss real tv
i miss alone time with my husband (because face it...in 250 sq feet, you're NEVER alone)
i miss staying in my pajamas all day and not caring because nobody saw me
OK enough complaining. I know this is temporary but every once in a while i just need to vent, and since you are here reading this i assume you care. pray for me and i the next time i post it's not from the hospital because i stabbed myself in the eye with a fork!

We left the chapel with our handcart in tow at around 4:00pm on Friday. We pulled the carts about 11 miles the first day. We stopped along the way and watched different scenes from pioneer stories. Just as the sun was setting we reached the place where we had a Women's Pull. The men left us girls and hiked to the top of the hill where the watched us pull our carts up the steepest hill in all of the Moapa Valley!
